Valet Album Artwork

I LOVED working on this commission.  VALET is a great band from Minneapolis.  I listened to this album over and over to get a feel for the songs, to collect any imagery in the lyrics and was able to piece together what I think turned out to be a great album cover!  I was also commissioned to create two covers for the single releases they did for their album.  

Let there be no doubt this song is an admittance and apology for the United States compliance in the murder of at least 100K innocent Guatemalans in the 1970s and 80s as a move for economic/political 'security'. It is also a story about context and cultural perspective a plea for the recovery of our humanity.
